And so it begins…finally!

But first, a little about me. By day I am a wardrobe consultant/personal stylist. By night, a blogger focused on fashionable finds for all things wedding. I have always had a knack for fashion, and shopping, which makes my day job a perfect fit. I didn’t think it could get better, but now I get to combine my love for wedding fashions, and have a platform to share, it’s so exciting!

Here’s how all of this began. A very good friend of mine once shared her “wedding binder” with me, it was filled with pages of ideas she had seen and knew she wanted to incorporate into her wedding. Mind you, she was not even engaged at the time, but she had been collecting ideas- we’ll just say- for a while. My fully engaged self, on the other hand, was pretty much like “what-the-what” when it came to planning. I never dreamed up that day as a little girl, didn’t really know what MOH stood for, no less what she actually did, and I hadn’t given a second thought to the color of the linens or bridal bouquets. I was certain of one thing, I wanted to honeymoon in one of those huts that sat over tropical water, preferably in the South Pacific.

A funny thing happened along the way during the planning process, that clueless bride to be fell in love with all things wedding. Getting married is such an amazing occasion, filled with so many details (dresses, bridesmaid dresses, shoes, oh, and seating charts, Oh my!) it’s easy to loose sight of the “I Do” part through all of it. My hope is that this blog connects with the brides who are on a clear path to the big day, to those who are overwhelmed and not sure where to begin, and everyone in between. And yes, we did stay in one of those huts.
