Quail Bridal is a quirky little line I recently stumbled upon. While it is a limited collection it’s got a lot of personality and a Parisian chic vibe going for it. The wedding dresses can be mixed and matched with removable skirts that give way to what Quail deems Cake Cutting Dresses (the short white dresses pictured here), as well as a handful of unique bridesmaid options and accessories.

I came across this picture from the Michael Kors Fall 2010 Collection and was planning on doing a Fashioning Weddings piece with it. I started pulling pictures and found so many great images I decided to use it for an inspiration board instead.
These colors instantly make me think of fall, apple picking, cozying up to a fire and making smores, leaves changing colors, I can just about smell it in the air. It’s so close and I can’t wait!

I was just doing my morning reading and found this unfortunate picture of Heidi Klum. I still think she is stunning (although I am not digging the new haircut she has been sporting on project runway), and she is definitely a force to be reckoned with. She is on her way to a picnic here wearing and oversized t-shirt, snakeskin leggings and a matching snakeskin bag. Is it bad that I am calling her out on this? I mean it does make the mega mom, mega model, and mega mogul seem a little bit more real, no? And she does do it right more often than not.

Ok, I am officially obsessed. Hair-calf everything is popping up all over and it’s really pretty. One of my favorite handbag designers Kotur (she is good friends with Tory Burch if you were interested), created this amazing black and silver tote that looks like a $3500 bag, but is only $875. I say only, I am jaded by what I do, but relatively speaking it’s not bad… I never win any arguments with my relatively plea. Also at Saks, new designer Reed Karakoff has created some timeless “ladylike” handbags which are so chic. The Elie Tahari boutique has this to die for pump which is even prettier on. And lastly, these classic shaped clutches at Jeffrey by YSL and Givenchy are a great way to give this seasons monochromatic looks a little punch of interest.
