Destination wedding virgin island, Beach destination weddingWhy wed here: With beaches too numerous to count there is no shortage of breathtaking places on   which to say your "I-do's." The most traveled to and the largest of the three islands is St. Croix, which lies entirely in the Caribbean Sea. The pace on St.Croix is slower, the people more relaxed, and there is a wonderful old world charm that is hard to ignore. St. John and St. Thomas lie 40 miles to the east of St. Croix, between the Atlantic and the Caribbean. St. Thomas, while largely mountainous, is a water lover's paradise, offering up world-class snorkeling and scuba diving. St. John is the smallest of the U.S. Virgin Islands but considered the prettiest by many travelers. With two-thirds of St. John being preserved as a National Park it is easy to understand why many find its beauty unsurpassed. Eco-conscious couples and those looking for a tucked-away paradise are likely to find this nine- mile long oasis the perfect wedding destination.

Noteworthy: Water Island, the 'Fourth Virgin Island,' of the U.S. Virgin Islands family. Located off of picturesque Charlotte Amalie Harbor (St. Thomas), this tiny Caribbean jewel is home to a gorgeous white-sand shore perfect for a new Mr. and Mrs., named Honeymoon Beach.
