It seems like everyone who did not have an Ipad before, got one over the holidays. They are pretty, and fun to play with, but I am solely a Mac Book girl through and through, not to mention there is no room to put anything else on my nightstand. I have to say, it would come in handy for all those wedding planning meetings. For all you that did get one and have been looking for a fashionable case, here are some of my favorites.

I don’t know about you, but I find Etsy can be wholly overwhelming. Love the site, but sometimes I just want to look at things that appeal to me without having to scroll through page after page. Well, maybe the lovely people at Etsy were feeling the same way because they recently launched their “taste test.” It’s a quick quiz like process (it’s all pictures) that creates pages of products based on the things you like. The first question looks like this, but if you don’t see anything that appeals to you, you can refresh the options and try again. It’s a lovely thing, and a great way to start dropping those Valentine Day hints. Yea I said it, Christmas is almost so done for the year. Enjoy the holiday!

If you are struggling to find a good gift for say, a hostess, fashionable girlfriend, in-laws, shower host, the list cam go on and on, check out Elenis. I happened to highlight some of their “fashion” cookies below, but they also have the most adorable holiday, wedding, and specialty designs for someone like the pet lover, or sports enthusiast in your life. The packaging is just about as cute as the cookies, and yes, they do taste as good as they look.

I’ve got my baby girl on the brain. This is a good thing considering we are 9 weeks from d-day and have not ordered any nursery furniture. I was looking around my favorite kiddie sites and came across these adorable tutus, perfect for dressing up (or little flower girls). I can see it now, any given day, or Halloween 2011 perhaps. At least that is one thing we can plan in advance…

{B Braithwaite, Barney’s Tutu and Headband}
And some totally wearable flirty grown up options just in time for the holidays.

{BCBG, Kara Janx, Alice & Olivia}

My favorite off the beaten track wedding dress EVER. Yes, it’s pink, and yes it’s made of plates. Turns out this couple was celebrating their 1 year anniversary, so the former bride had a local designer make her a dress, and her husband a tie, out of paper! Then they had a little photoshoot. So clever.

I’ll be the first to admit, I am not a huge fan of dressing up in costumes. Although next year I may feel differently as I will potentially have a mini me to deck out in some ridiculous/ ridiculously cute Halloween ensemble. Today’s faves are pumpkin inspired.

Today is the quinesstial example of a transitional fall day, at least where I live, cool in the morning and glorious by afternoon. I ventured into my closet and rediscovered my favorite little Theory knit vest and remembered how much I love vests. Not so much the argyle kind, although if that is your thing, or argyle preppy is your go to golf look, Old Navy has a deal for you (I did not say I think it’s pretty). A great sweater vest like this one by Elie Tahari, now I could go for that.

Vests are “in” this season, so there is a myriad to choose from, although to me they are a classic wardrobe staple. So if you fancy fur, faux fur, suede, knits, puffers, you can be sure that there is something for everyone and every lifestyle. To me, the right vest just oozes cool.

These robes by Pretty Plum Sugar are the bomb, and would be fun to give as gifts to your bridesmaids. All the getting ready pictures would come out even better, plus it really is something your girls could use again.

I am kind of handicapped when it comes to make-up. I have a pretty basic everyday routine, and a couple of go-to tricks for evening up my sleeve, but I have yet to master liquid eyeliner- if that tells you anything. My faves for today are beauty looks from Milan fashion week, and I think I may even stand a chance at translating these into my own beauty regimen.
