Neutrals & Pastels Are Pretty Too!

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010 by admin

Thinking back to last week’s posts, the whole Moroccan/ Sex And The City thing was like and unintended ode to color. I know the thought of loud bold color may make some of you want to invest in the closest pair of oversized polarized sunglasses, and run away like you were being chased.  So, for you, I have some neutral and pastel inspirations. By the way, how stinking cute are those flower girls? I just love their outfits.

It’s quite obvious, but if you go with a Moroccan theme (or to Morocco) you can’t be afraid of bold color! Ditch the idea of pastels at customs. Did you know that in traditional Moroccan weddings, the bride is given a milk bath “purify” her before she gets ready for the ceremony? Then she is given elaborate henna tattoos on her hands and feet to ward off evil spirits bring good luck, and increase fertility. And really, who couldn’t benefit from a lifetime of good luck.
