So no real faves for today- mainly because we are in the mountains with some friends and I left my computer at home- but I do love me some fireworks. So happy New Year, and see you in 2011!

Despite my flu shot this year, I still got sick. I don’t think it’s the flu, but all I want to do today is stay in bed and eat chicken noodle soup. My head does not have the capacity to pick faves for this week, other than being able to breathe regularly without coughing. It really seems like it’s been a while since I have felt this crappy, and after consulting the expired-in-2009 cold meds I found in our bathroom, I guess it has been. Fortunately I do not have too much planned this weekend so I hope to be back on the blogging front by Monday. Have a great weekend!

Here’s the update. Our site got hacked and consequently shut down for the past couple days. I’m not sure whether we should be excited about the fact that someone felt we were “cool” enough to hack, but nonetheless everything in back in working order and new blog posts will return next week. Have a great Labor Day weekend!

First there was Bogart & Bergman, then Bradshaw (albeit a few decades later), next a blushing bride? Morocco possesses such a sensual and seductive vibe, dont you think? Maybe it’s the architecture, the sun-drenched scenery or the mind boggling belly dancers but anyway you look at it, this place sizzles from morning to night. And while I may be more Halston gowns than harem pants, the fashion ensembles are all super chic.

I need to let you in on a little secret…I am having a love affair…with Paris. The city of lights doesn’t yet know I am “the one” as we have yet to meet, but when we do, ce sera magique (it will be magic).  When the time comes to eat cheese, drink wine, and take in the sights and sounds I will be ready, perfect striped tee and all!

Hi! I am so excited to be back guest blogging again. Maybe because it’s summer but the travel bug has bitten me…big time! Since the Mr. and I have some fun trips planned over the next few months I started thinking about the various wardrobes I’ll need (I’m a sucker for any excuse to shop). So in keeping with the fashion focus of The Styled Bride I put together the frocks I’d rock if I were a bride again and getting married somewhere fabulous!

My husband and I have been planning on renovating our kitchen for a while, but we decided very last minute (last Friday) that we were going to start demolition the next day (Saturday). We just wrapped up day 3 of the renovation and I am having a hard time focusing. So, I have enlisted the help of Wedded Away Co-Founder Julia Lavine to guest post for the week. You are in great hands.
