One upon a time, actually almost a year ago, my watch went in for a new battery. As the story goes it was fixed and shipped back to me, but sadly it never arrived. I have gotten over the fact that particular watch is donezo, and now I am searching for one that stops time by it’s allure.
Time stopped for this one, and then it started again when I saw the price.
Cartier Chronoscaph Watch, $4350 which is way too nice for me, but it sure is pretty.

I may be prematurely aging myself here, but I so remember these watches. I wanted one so badly in grade school, and then they were banned so no one could cheat on math tests. It’s another eighties revival, which reaffirms my belief that everything from that decade should have been left there.

Growing up in the south I appreciate the preppy-ness of this bad boy. Plus I have a hard time passing up anything blue.
