{Friday Faves} Lavender Love

Thanks to the color purple for making a fashion debut as an “it” color, we now get to enjoy the lighter springier version, and it looks good on just about any skin tone. Call it what you want, purple, lavender, lilac, or freesia, just don’t call it ugly. And, I hear it’s slated to stay around a couple seasons, yay!
Everyone could use a lavender dress for the summer because sun tan + dress= fashion bliss.
So the Nike running shorts are looking a little grey (at least on my screen), but they really are lavender. What better way to work it out so that party dress for sure fits?
Along the same note, a tunic is great for those days when you didn’t put your Nike shorts on, and a body skimming anything is oh so not appealing. Plus the light weight cotton makes it comfortable in the heat of the summer, and at the beach. Did I mention how much I love the navy beading? Navy and lavender together is oh so chic!
This adorable scarf from J.Crew is a great way to stay warm in any over air conditioned office or restaurant.
These purple shoes are officially on my wish list. I always get myself into trouble when I visit Anthropologie.
Tod’s D-Bag keeps teasing me. I see it in there ads all over the place. FYI D-Bag is short for D-Styling Bauletto Medio. Do you think they meant to nickname it that?
