Last week was silver and gold, and this week it’s black and gold. Gold really looks most sophisticated and elegant in soft hues, but then again, I have always been a sucker for softer metallics. My favorite piece of inspiration here is the incorporation of black into the bouquet.

It has been so freakishly cold, and I live in the South ya’ll. I didn’t think I signed up for this when I moved back from NYC. Anywho, I fell in love with this color palette because it’s warm and happy, yet subtle. Most beachy color schemes tend to use brights, which are great too, but this gives another option for someone who likes color, but doesn’t want it to scream.

Today’s wedding inspiration board colors just came to me for some reason(usually I have to really think hard). I knew I wanted to highlight a soft whimsical palette, that could work for just about any wedding at just about any time of the year, and this is it, for now. Enjoy!

I love this time of year because the special edition candy cane ice cream is finally back in stores. I’m not a huge fan of peppermint in general, but put it in a vat of wholesome ice cream goodness and I am all about it. So, in the holiday spirit, this week’s inspiration board was inspired by the red and white stripe treat we all know, and love (at least in some form or another).
